Sustainability

Broc Shot was founded, based on the Cradle-to-Cradle philosophy that says that companies should be responsible for the full lifecycle of their product.

Compostable Packaging

We are excited to be leaders in packaging sustainability. Our sachets are derived from wood pulp, sugarcane and cornstarch. We are proud to be 100% compostable, plastic and foil-free as well as certified BPI compostable with 90% degradation in 6 months. Each Broc Shot starter kit includes a reusable, stainless steel shaker for a perfectly dosed shot.

You can cover the entire surface of the earth with the plastic sachets sold per year. 855 billion, to be exact.

Less than 9% of "recyclable" packaging actually gets recycled. Most sachets, made from a blend of plastic, paper, and foil, cannot be recycled, causing confusion, polluting recycling systems, and leading to more microplastics in our bodies.

Our sachets are from wood pulp, sugarcane and cornstarch with 90% degradation in 6 months.

Sourcing

We created Broc Shot because we were let down by the supplement industry. We hold every step in our process to the highest standard.

Our process starts at seed selection. Broccoli plants can vary greatly, but the seeds we choose produce a higher sulforaphane content than what's typically available in grocery stores or grown at home.  Through rigorous testing at the seed level and during milling, we ensure our powder  consistently provides at least 12 mg of sulforaphane.

Our broccoli seed powder undergoes a gentle milling process. Unlike traditional freeze-drying methods, we opt for a technique that preserves the vitality of our powder.

We keep it simple and natural. No broccoli seed extracts or stabilized sulforaphane in our formula. Our seeds are NON-GMO, and cultivated without any pesticides or herbicides.

And, of course, we're committed to keeping our entire manufacturing process free from any chemical residues. Your health matters, and that's our priority.

We test at different points during cultivation and production, starting with seed-level tests to identify seeds that will yield high sulforaphane levels. Every final batch is tested to guarantee it contains no less than 12mg of sulforaphane. We also check for chemical residue, heavy metal contamination, and assess the microbiological profile. Products only make the cut if they meet our stringent standards.

Our manufacturing facility is HACCP-certified + SQF certified (globally recognized Food Safety + Quality standards). We are compliant with GMP standards and registered with US FDA + TGA (Australian FDA).
